My name is Vernon Painter, the first time I entered the office I did so as the ultimate sceptic about chiropractic care.  The main reason for this was not only the lack of knowledge but a couple of horror stories from people that had bad experiences with bad doctors. I was tagging along with my wife the first time; she had been receiving adjustments for several years and I wanted to see just what it was all about.  We were told on the phone that Dr. Murphy was out of town, but that Dr. Bushman was avaliable if we would like to see her.  When we arrived to the office we first noticed how neat and organized everything was with information pamplets avaliable, and how friendly and knowledgable the staff was to answer all of my questions. We were greeted by Missy and after paperwork and a movie we were introduced to Dr. Bushman.  The first visit I just watched and talked about it with my wife afterwards.  I made my first appointment on the next visit.  I have been on disability for 4 years and have several health problems that includes back discomfort from injury's to it and arthritis in the back, sholders and knees.  Dr. Bushman explained that it could be as much as a week of adjustments before I noticed any difference.  I should give a little more medical history.  In addition to the above mentioned I have COPD and could not walk more that a half a block with out resting, or having a dizzy spell.  By the third visit I was feeling like a different person, I had began takingnutritionsl therapy and it was balancing out my blood sugars.  I now had more energy and was walking about three quarters of a mile with out resting and not gasping for air when I was done.  On the forth visit I talked to Dr. Bushman about the dizzy spells, she began workingon my neck and now the dizziness has almost completely went away.  I know take two treatments a week and while not heeled of everything I feel better now than I have for a long time.  Prior to beginning treatments with Dr. Bushman all of my treatments had been pretty much taking pills, inhalers and insulin, I still take them but now I look foward to the daywhen I can cut back or quit all together.  Needless to say I have gone from a sceptic to a believer in Chiropractic Care, I have a total confidence in Dr. Bushman and Missy.  I would and already have told people about the care that I have received.  Dr. Bushman, Missy keep up the good work your doing a great job
