Chiropractic Adjustment:  The Chiropractic adjustment is performed with an electric instrument called an Arthrostim.   It delivers a high speed low thrust to the spine that allows the body to reduce the misaligment without pain.  The following pictures will give a few examples of  areas of the body being treated.
 
 
In this video, Dr. Rackley is performing a cervical  or neck adjustment.  Many times the patient can feel a relaxation in the spine and muscles immediately.  The great news about this type of spinal treatment is that there is no stress to your body. It works for all ages from infants to older adults. An infant can receive an adjustment of the spine without even waking up. The amount of pressure used against the spine can be changed according to the patient and the area being treated.  Dr. Rackley will determine the proper setting for your spinal adjustment.
   
Many times the shoulder and shoulder blade region can go out of alignment.  Once this happens , the shoulder muscles have to work harder to move the arm.  This eventually causes pain and inflammation when you move your arm .  The Chiropractic adjustment  unlocks the shoulder area allowing better movement . Once you have better mobility, pain and inflammation can start to decrease.  The great thing about using the instrument to do the treatment is that  most patients can move their arm better after the first visit.
   
Many patients suffer from midback pain. Spinal misalignments in this area can also cause digestive problems .The nerves in this region of the spine control digestion. Chiropractic care in this area can help many types of digestive distress. Dr. Rackley can also perform a Total Health Scan to test your digestive organs to see if they need nutritional support.

 

 
 Dr. Rackley is adjusting the pelvis and low back region using the Arthrostim. The action of the instrument redusing the stress ont eht low back and lumbar nerves.  This treatment helps low back pain, hip pain, leg pain, and lumbar disc problems.
 
This patient is receiving Percussion Therapy on the shoulder region. The percussor vibrates straight up and down  which penetrates deep into the tissues. After the Chiropractic adjustment, this therapy may be used to relax the muscles and fascia (membranes between muscle).  It also 
stimulates circulation to the area and energizes the tissue. The percussor helps promote healing and speeds up the recovery time.
   
Microcurrent Therapy is very healing to the body.  We have two types of microcurrent instruments.  The one pictured to the left treats specific points on the body.  Microcurrent therapy relaxes the area, decreases pain by triggering the body to release endorphins (natural pain killers), and energizes the tissue. The Frequency Specific Microcurrent instrument is in the next picture with its description.
   
Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy treats many different types of conditions.  By using multiple microcurrent frequencies it enables and activates the bodies' own healing response.  Dr. Rackley is certified in this specialized  therapy.
   
 
 
 
Laser Therapy is one of the newest therapys to be approved by the FDA in recent years. The photon energy frequency is the same as the body's frequency.  Some patients notice immediate pain reduction with better movement of the part of the body being treated.  Dr. Rackley has used a laser for several years and is  very experienced in it's application.
